I don't know how to look for color mode - modes are that indesign CC is in CMYK mode. How would know that? Where is that located setting? Thank youġ1. These are dotted lines, they appear differently in each different photograph. you can see the lines in Indesign only when high-quality screen, they do not seem to remain in the same position, but at 100% and 200%, they are quite noticeable while 600% zoom, they become less bright. But you think that I shouldn't do this?ĥ. the file I linked IS an eps, I always do an eps because with all my files I leave the fonts in the file have and save a second file, the eps where I saw all the fonts to save all of the possible problems of fonts. I created a PDF file in InDesign and the text boxes has a white line around one of the text boxes? There is no color indicated on the sketch? How can I fix it I had this problem before with lines that appear around objects that should not be there, as well as objects are not like they do in inDesign, any advice to solve this? The line isn't even a straight white line! Line is noticeable only in one place where a black rectangle together black background (only the upper part of the rectangle is visible on black as one side is covered and the other side is outside the crop area) so I don't know if it's the only spot, it happens. These lines are not normally present when in indesign. I have fixed the image that was just rectangular turning them just in a JPEG file that I did not require the use of transparency, but the second object is another question, and I require the use of png transparency. Looking at the two images currently affected, I noticed that they are two PNG images. I'm having the problem that the imported images frequently have white around the outside of the image bars when the document is exported to PDF format. I'd like it to look fine on the normal view as well, especially seeing as 3 out of the 4 lines appear as they should.White lines around png when exporting to PDF On the normal view of the pdf it looks odd but pretty much every other view is fine. ![]() PNG's, but the same thing happens regardless of quality/compression and it also happens if I use a. I was going to put an example up but when I use the pdf snapshot tool and paste it into an image editor but the border line that was too light looked perfectly fine again on it. When I then zoom in to around 200% all of the lines look exactly the same, and if I print it comes out fine. When I export as pdflatex the graph images will tend to have 3 border lines that are dark, as they should be, but then one border line, usually the bottom one, is much fainter. It's not a huge issue but it's bugging me. Just adding some graphs in at the moment but something odd is happening. Using LyX, book class, for writing my thesis. ![]()
